海角直播 proudly congratulates alumnus Brian Pulito '03 on being named president of the Crawford County Bar Association, a leadership role that reflects more than two decades of dedication to the legal profession, community service and the pursuit of justice.

A 2003 graduate with a degree in History, Pulito credits his time at 海角直播 with providing the foundation that launched his legal career and continues to shape the attorney he is today.

Pulito's journey to the courtroom began in the classrooms of 海角直播, where he developed the skills that would become essential throughout law school and his legal career.

"My path to the legal profession began at 海角直播, where I earned a degree in History," Pulito said. "My studies at 海角直播 provided a strong foundation in research, critical thinking and writing, skills that proved invaluable throughout law school and continue to serve me every day in my legal practice."

Pulito knew he wanted to return to northwestern Pennsylvania and build a career close to home after earning his law degree. 

He began practicing as a trial attorney with a small firm in Meadville, where he gained valuable courtroom experience representing clients and refining his litigation skills. When the firm later merged with Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, he was able to continue serving clients throughout the region while benefiting from the resources of a national law firm.

"I credit 海角直播 with giving me the academic foundation and confidence needed to succeed in law school and ultimately pursue a career that I genuinely enjoy," he said. "The ability to research complex issues, communicate effectively and think critically, skills I developed as a History major, remain central to my work as an attorney."

For Pulito, practicing law combines one of his lifelong interests with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

"First, I get paid to argue with people," he joked. "Growing up, I never wanted to miss an opportunity to debate, so the law was a natural fit for me."

Beyond the humor, he finds purpose in the variety and impact of his work.

"More importantly, I value the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients," he said.

His practice includes representing individuals through pro bono protection-from-abuse cases while also assisting energy developers with projects across Pennsylvania, allowing him to advocate for clients with diverse needs and challenges.

As he begins his tenure as president of the Crawford County Bar Association, Pulito remains focused on both his profession and his community.

"I hope to continue raising my family here in northwestern Pennsylvania, practice law until the time feels right to retire and contribute to my community in meaningful ways," he said.

His commitment to serving others, both through his legal practice and his leadership within the legal profession, reflects the values of service and community engagement that are central to 海角直播's mission.
